Beth & I just celebrated 30 years of marriage & ministry in 2014. 20 of those years have been in church pastoral ministry in New Hampshire & currently in Boston, MA. We also ministered as appointed missionaries to the Philippines from 1996-2005 where we directed Childcare Compassion Ministries. This work continues today to reach out to malnourished children & their families around the country. Church planting was a natural part of the process of starting with feeding station locations & transitioning to a church plant. In 2005 we returned to the US to work with Convoy of Hope as International Directors. During this time, Beth took our experience in the Philippines and developed a feeding program to Nicaragua’s children, “Nurturing Hope”, which continues to expand to many other countries. Dave’s work with Convoy was primarily responding to & coordinating assistance to disasters such as the tsunami in Indonesia, floods in Nicaragua, Pakistan earthquake, and hurricane Katrina. Dave was also actively involved in the implentation of water filtration in several areas of the world. Since fall of 2006, we have been in Boston; a wonderful, urban church community here at Boston Harbor Community Church. Beth & I have a heart to serve our community & city in practical ways with the love of Jesus. Through strong biblical teaching, strong relationships within the church & in the city, and with a mission to serve others, lives are being transformed & healed. No matter where you find yourself in life, I am convinced you will feel welcome here. And we want you to remember that “Nothing is too difficult for God” Jeremiah 32:27. It is within the context of bibilical community that your faith will be strengthened and matured. Come check us out sometime. Whether you are passing through, or relocating to our city, we would love to meet you personally & have you consider being part of our community.
